Dealing with emotions
This involves learning how to deal with and respond to the emotions of grief in a helpful, God-honoring manner.
Adjusting
Adjusting to a world without their loved one can mean learning new skills, taking on new roles, and thinking of themselves (and God) in new ways.
Addressing questions
Working through questions about God's character, His purposes, and eternity is a sign of healing
Continuing
Continuing life without forgetting their loved one means taking steps forward in a way that honors the memory of their loved on.
Sharing Comfort
Comforting others with the comfort they received from God is essential to their healing and the start of their new life (2 Cor. 1:3-4)
